L&B Annual Photo competition
The prize is to see your photo reproduced in either the annual L&B calendar, an L&B Christmas Card or in the timetable leaflet or as other L&B publicity. Winners may also see their photos on the L&B website. There is no cash prize and no cash alternative. Acknowledgment of the photographers' work will be given. The photographer of every photo used will receive a calendar.
The subject must have a tangible connection with the L&BR such as a landscape, structure, loco, wagon, train or feature connected with the railway.
Entrants may submit no more than 10 photos and on each and every CD/print should be marked with the name, address, contact telephone number (both daytime and evening). Also include some detail such as date, time and location or where the photo was taken.
Landscape and colour photos are preferred for the calendar , but portrait and B&W shots should still be submitted as these are useful for other L&B publications such as timetables, brochures and the website - so are still welcome.
There are no restrictions on who may enter. However, entrants under the age of 14 must provide us with a parents or guardians approval.
Entries must be of high resolution suitable for reproduction, taken at any time in the L&B's history and should be sent electronically to: photocomp@lynton-rail.co.uk or by surface mail to Photocomp, Woody Bay Station, Parracombe, Devon, EX31 4RA
