The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway has been acknowledged for its contribution to tourism at the 2008 North Devon Business Awards.

In the Tourist section, Visitor Attractions category, Ilfracombe Aquarium was the eventual winner, with The Big Sheep and The Lynton & Barnstaple Railway as runners-up.

Who knows what we will achieve next year!

The event was organised by North Devon+ and sponsors included Evans Transport, Maynard John, NatWest, Farm & Cottage Holidays, Business Link, Salt Media and the North Devon Journal.
