10th January, 2025
We were very pleased to host Trackside magazine today (Friday, 10th of January) at a wintery Woody Bay and charming Chelfham.
General Manager Stuart Nelhams and Trustee Giles Perkins were interviewed for part of an upcoming feature covering the railway’s achievements to date and plans for the future right across the L&B family.
Stuart and Giles took Richard Foster, Associate Editor, round Woody Bay station, cafe, garden and miniature railways, locomotive shed, workshops and the Chelfham station site before Richard went on to visit Snapper, Pilton and Barnstaple.
The article will also include the activities of our friends Exmoor Associates, particularly at Bratton Fleming, through a parallel interview as diaries couldn’t quite be meshed, especially given the long distance Trackside had travelled coming to North Devon to see us.
As ever with physical publishing, we don’t know when this will go to print but we look forward to some great coverage for the whole Lynton & Barnstaple project, the last narrow-gauge adventure.
