Refurbishment of Down Starter signal at Woody Bay

The top 40cm of the post was rotten and in danger of collapse, so a new post top was made out of ~15mm oak boards and fitted into a rebate cut in the old post. The opportunity was taken to repair the finial, renew the platform boarding and do a full repaint.  Sadly, other smaller patches  of rot were found  in the post lower down, so at some point in the future, full replacement will become necessary.
