Update on Planning Application to extend to Cricket Field Lane

As supporters and members will be aware we have been developing our proposals for the extension of the railway from Killington Lane to Cricket Field Lane.

At the end of August we published our summary of the engagement sessions we held over the summer [view here] which provided answers to the questions asked, a set of guiding principles for future development of the railway and a list of additional outcomes from the meetings.

We are very pleased to announce that planning application was submitted last week and is now registered on Exmoor National Park’s Citizens Planning portal. The planning reference is: 62/50/24/014 "Proposed reinstatement of railway line between Killington Lane and Cricket Field Lane”. Full details and all documents can be viewed by following this link:  https://planning.agileapplications.co.uk/exmoor/application-details/25033
