Winter work update - November 24

We may be taking a break from running trains, but our volunteers are out in all weathers working hard to maintain the railway. Volunteers are always welcome.

These are a few photographs of some of the work going on around the railway over the last few weeks.

For the days when it’s too wet to work outside, (often), there is always something to do under cover. On-going repairs to the brake van continue with the fitting of new window frames. The bogies from Van 23 are also being overhauled in preparation for beiDave Hallett
